OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Worker Owned
Echo Adventure Cooperative is a collective board worker cooperative made up of empowered, encouraged and adventurous men and women throughout the Sierra. Every Echo Adventures employee directly contributes to the decision making of the Corporation through the Employee Advisory Board or the Board of Directors.
Environmentally Sustainable
In addition to volunteering and donating to conservation efforts, Echo Adventures members also practice and teach strict Leave No Trace principles, including catch & release fly fishing with barbless hooks. Our employee housing uses 100% Solar Choice Power as well as repurposed furniture and fixtures.
Guest Oriented
Each adventure is carefully crafted with guest safety and satisfaction in mind, and our Adventure Coordinators and Guides will always work to help you make the most of your time. All adventures include equipment, fees, licenses & transportation as well as a diverse menu of locally sourced add-ons so you can customize the perfect day!
Community Driven
We don't just work here, we live here, so Echo Adventure Cooperative works closely with residents, local businesses, and community organizations to help make our community healthier, safer, and more sustainable and inclusive. In 2024, we are donating, volunteering and fundraising to develop and maintain safe and clean local trails.
OUR ADVENTURES
We rented two bikes for the day. The staff was friendly and the bikes were nice. We found a path online about 30 minutes away. Bring water, your enthusiasm for adventure and have fun.
...the Echo team did a great job setting us up for success by making the process easy to book up front. The actual day of was just as easy and will definitely recommend Echo.
We appreciated our guide’s knowledge of the natural environment and history of the park, and we felt safe and confident as he navigated us along the trail and roads during wet winter weather.
